Nick Young can’t stop shouting out D’Angelo Russell

Following their 120-116 win over the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday, the Los Angeles Lakers celebrated in kind in the locker room.

Most notably, Nick Young could not stop complimenting his teammates, specifically D’Angelo Russell, after scoring 23 points in the win.

Russell finished with a double-double with 22 points and 10 assists on the night, but Young stole the show in the locker room after.

Young and Russell combined to help the Lakers to the 17th win of the season, matching the total wins from the 2015-16 season as a whole.

Obviously, Young and Russell have their history in the past, but it appears that the two have let bygones be bygones.

For Young, his resurgence this season has played a big role in the Lakers’ success as he’s shooting a career-best from the field and the three-point line this season.

Russell, meanwhile, has played a vital role of his own as the Lakers are 14-21 in games he has started. While injuries have sidetracked him this season, it’s clear that he is the point guard of the future for the Lakers.
