Another game in the books, another name added to the long list of injuries the Los Angeles Lakers have been forced to construct this season.
In Monday night’s loss to the Utah Jazz, Tarik Black left the contest early with an ankle injury after defending a Gordon Hayward drive. Black was unable to return to the game.
The extent of his injury is not fully known at this point in regards to when a return can be scheduled, but the Lakers announced on Tuesday that Black did not make the trip with the team to Houston to play the Rockets on Wednesday.
Tarik Black (ankle sprain) also won't make the one-game trip to Houston. https://t.co/cJ4HtjIFyX

The primary strength of the Lakers this season has been their second unit. With Black hurt, along with a handful of others on the team, the bench has been broken up for the time being. Hopefully the Lakers will be able to get healthy again soon so they can return to their normal rotation.
