The most recent Lakers’ preseason match-ups came against the Denver Nuggets, a pair of games that the Lakers split.
In the first game, the Lakers fell to Denver in a fourth-quarter comeback that saw the reserves fail to hold on to a late lead.
Game two, meanwhile, saw D’Angelo Russell go crazy, scoring 33 points on 19 shots, leading the Lakers to a win as they pulled away late.
Both games featured many positives and negatives from the preseason. Our own Pete Zayas broke down each game in his Laker Film Room series.
