Podcast: Lakers fall to 0-3 against the Kings this season; Draft Lottery Simulation!

Another game, another loss. The Los Angeles Lakers fell to 0-3 this season against the Sacramento Kings after a 112-93 loss on Wednesday at Staples Center. The defeat drops the Lakers to 9-35 on the season, with the 36-6 San Antonio Spurs coming into town on Friday.

After one of the most thrilling games of the Lakers’ season in their last meeting in Sacramento, this one was quite the opposite. Los Angeles faced a double-digit deficit after the first quarter and could not seem to ever get all the way back. They cut it to five going into the half, but it was pretty much all Sacramento after that, as they outscored the Lakers 55-41 in the second half.

Kobe Bryant suited up once again, pouring in 15 points on 4-of-13 shooting in 31 minutes. The amount of playing time continues to be an issue, even after head coach Byron Scott even said, “Obviously, [Bryant] can’t play 30 to 32 minutes a game.”

Gary and Honi sit down to discuss the game, Kobe’s minutes (again) and what is up next for the purple and gold.
