Christmas is widely known as the season of giving, and Santa Claus was not the only one handing out gifts this holiday season.
Los Angeles Lakers rookie, Larry Nance, Jr. managed to giftwrap a bucket and two points to the Los Angeles Clippers early in the Christmas Day matchup between the two teams.
This play perfectly epitomizes what the Lakers have been so far this season. Just when it looks like they have managed to get something right — in this case, a stop on defense — they do something to completely negate it.
Granted, this was as bizarre of a play you will ever find, especially how far away from the basket that Nance, Jr. was. But that’s just how things have gone for the purple and gold this season. If he thought the rookie hazing was already bad, he might never hear the end of this one.
An appearance on Shaqtin’ a Fool is certainly in his near future.
