Podcast: Kobe leads comeback victory over the Nuggets

He has been doing it for 20 years, and it still amazes people to this day. After a dreadful first half that saw the Lakers down by as many as 21 points, Kobe Bryant took over the offense in the second half to lead Los Angeles to a 111-107 victory in Denver.

Kobe didn’t stop with just the offense, though. Will Barton was getting anything he wanted in the first half, resulting in 23 points. Bryant then switched onto him and guarded Barton for the majority of the second half, and the latter finished with just two points in the final 24 minutes.

Bryant finished with 31 points on 10-of-22 shooting, along with five assists in 32 minutes after sitting out Saturday’s game in Oklahoma City. Jordan Clarkson quietly chipped in 19 points and eight rebounds in the victory.

Gary is joined by Kyle and Honi to discuss another vintage Bryant performance and what to expect with the Thunder in town for tomorrow’s game.
