Sunday offered the same story, just on a different night for the Los Angeles Lakers. Once again, the team was able to compete and stay within striking distance, but fell short in the end.
After losing to the Portland Trail Blazers, 107-93, the Lakers will pack their bags for a short trip to see the Golden State Warriors, who just set the record for most consecutive wins to start a season by a defending champion with 15. Steph Curry and company will attempt to take care of the 2-11 Lakers on their home floor and advance to a 16-0 start, which would be the best start in NBA history.
The young guys had an overall strong showing tonight against a very talented backcourt in Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum, but will be facing an even taller task on Tuesday at Oracle Arena.
Gary is joined for the first time by rookie Kyle Hartwick to discuss tonight’s game and look forward to a game that fans may want to avoid on Tuesday.
