Lakers vs. Raptors Game Highlights: October 8, 2015

The Los Angeles Lakers have returned to the mainland after their training camp trip to Hawaii, where they played their first two preseason games against the Utah Jazz. In their third game of this year’s preseason campaign, the Lakers took on Kyle Lowry and the Toronto Raptors.

The bad news? Los Angeles failed to get in the win column, losing 105-97 to the Raptors on Thursday. But, it’s preseason, so wins and losses mean nothing.  Also, D’Angelo Russell did not play due to what the team has labeled as a bruised glute. Luckily, it was for precautionary reasons, considering Russell was able to run and move well before the game.

The good news? Julius Randle built off of his strong performance in game No. 2 against the Jazz, pouring in 17 points (7-of-10 shooting), five rebounds and three assists in 23 minutes. Robert Upshaw provided a solid outing in his first preseason minutes, and most importantly, nobody else got hurt … or slapped.
