PODCAST: Lakers battle tough, fall in overtime to Warriors

On a memorable night in a battle with the defending champion Golden State Warriors, Brandon Ingram and the Lakers came up just short in their quest for a statement win, falling 127-123.

Ingram stole the headlines with a game-high 32 points, shooting 12-for-21 from the field and nailing both of his triples on the night. Lonzo Ball pieced together one of his best quarters of the season in the third period with three triples and 11 points as part of his 15-point, 10-assist night.

Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson combined for 41 points off the bench and were +8 and +11, respectively, on the night, the two highest marks on the team.

In the end, though, the Lakers ran out of gas and luck as the Warriors dominated the overtime period and used a bit of Lady Luck to steal a winnable game out from under the Lakers.

The guys jump on the podcast to talk all the good, bad and ugly takeaways from the night and look ahead toward a brutal close to 2017.
