The last time Lamar Odom and Luke Walton shared the same court, they were both playing for the Lakers. On Monday morning the two reconnected again, Odom and Walton were both at the Lakers practice facility to watch pre-draft workouts from six draft prospects.

It is always great and joyful to see Odom smiling in a basketball setting. Odom’s past few years had been rough and heartbreaking to hear about, but Odom will always be a fan favorite and a lovable person.
Odom spent time on Monday to watch six prospects work out for the Lakers. The most notable prospect was Oregon’s forward Jordan Bell. Bell is known to be a great fan of Odom’s game. The two met before during the NCAA tournament in March and seemed to developed a nice connection with each other.

Bell is a 6′ 9″ forward with extreme athletic abilities and great defensive tenacity. He is not as great as a playmaker as Odom, but hopefully, the part of this game will develop in the NBA.
It is pretty cool to see Odom and Bell reconnect again. The Lakers have the 28th pick in this year’s draft, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see them take Bell if he is still available.
Odom was again present on Tuesday to watch the next batch of workouts.
