As part of their road trip the Lakers took a pit stop in Indiana to play the Pacers on Tuesday.

The game started off slowly but not due to any of the teams. The clock wasn’t working correctly and officials had to stop the game periodically in the beginning of the game.

Unlike the previous game against the Thunder the Lakers started off slowly but were able to get the game close before falling to Indiana.

Opposing teams hate Larry Nance Jr

Nance Jr was everywhere today. He had 6 steals and it seemed like he was taking away the ball every time the Pacers had it. And when he wasn’t annoying the Pacers with his defense he was destroying careers with his dunks.

He may not light up the boxscore with points, but he will make an impact everywhere else.

Lou Williams is good off the bench

Lou has been a good scorer throughout his career, and with his incredibly cheap contract he is a valuable player. But it gets lost among the talking of the younger players how much of an impact he is off the bench.

When he was on the floor tonight he was a vital part of the Lakers scoring and had 19 points on 7-13 shooting. He was a big reason the Lakers got the game close.

The Lakers will keep games close

The Lakers started off the game well taking the early lead but didn’t take another lead until late in the fourth quarter. Despite being down most of the game and being down by 11 after the first half they kept it close.

This has been a constant theme throughout the early season. They may lose a lot of games but they’ll go down fighting.
