Los Angeles Lakers rookie Brandon Ingram is already making a name for himself despite not having taken the court for a meaningful game (yet). The forward has already earned plenty of praise from both his current and former head coaches as well as some guys named Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant, the latter of whom Ingram was frequently compared to before and during the 2016 NBA draft when the Lakers took him #2 overall.
Ingram is also the overwhelming favorite for 2016-17 NBA MVP – whether or not Vegas sees it that way. Oh, and he’s also got Kobe’s old locker. No pressure, kid.
The Duke product seems to be adjusting well to Los Angeles, however, and was recently filmed participating in the hallowed L.A. athlete tradition of crashing a pickup game at the iconic Venice Beach courts. But what made Ingram’s Venice debut even more interesting is that he dominated said game IN A FREAKING SUIT:

Suits are, by nature, very tight-fitting and typically limit the wearer’s athletic ability by a ton. For instance, this writer’s most famous athletic feats while in a suit involve thoroughly embarrassing himself on the dance floor his high school prom. Ingram, on the other hand, seems to have no problem moving around the court while dressed to kill, ruthlessly posting up shirtless dudes in gym shorts as well as draining contested shots from deep.
The only thing more amazing than Ingram’s display in Venice is the fact that he somehow keeps finding suits that fit his long arms and legs, which, if you’ve ever been to a Men’s Warehouse before, you know is downright impossible even if you don’t have an insane wingspan like Ingram.
After this, there’s no way we can’t have Ingram face off against Blake Griffin in a friendly one-on-one to determine L.A. basketball superiority once and for all. Until then, we’ll just have to settle for Lakers/Clippers: Christmas Edition II.
