Update:

Both Julius Randle and Andrew Bogut practiced on Tuesday. Randle was once again held out of the scrimmage portion of practice and his status for Thursday’s game is unknown but Luke Walton seemed optimistic:

Randle himself also believed he would be back on the court on Thursday.

Bogut participated fully on Tuesday. He was listed among the Lakers inactive players on Monday for the season opener but that list is tentative. If Walton believes that the center is in good shape to play, it’s likely that he would receive some minutes behind Brook Lopez against the Clippers.

The 2017-18 regular season for the Los Angeles Lakers is just days away, as the team gets set to take on their crosstown rival, the Los Angeles Clippers.

The injury bug bit the Lakers pretty hard in their preseason campaign, forcing starters Lonzo Ball and Brook Lopez to miss some time, although both are expected to be ready for Thursday’s season opener. Not everyone on the roster, however, appears to be as fortunate.

Spectrum SportsNet’s Mike Bresnahan reports that the Lakers could be without Julius Randle and Andrew Bogut against the Clippers.

Bresnahan immediately followed up this tweet by saying that their status can change if they are able to practice on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Bogut has yet to suit up for the purple and gold since signing his contract recently because of a strained groin and Randle has been battling a rib injury. The Lakers will already be without Kentavious Caldwell-Pope on Thursday as he begins his two-game suspension.
