Kyle Kuzma

Despite being named the Summer League championship game MVP and standing out as one of the top rookies in Las Vegas, rookie Kyle Kuzma received a more-than-modest NBA 2K18 rating.

Kuzma lit up the Summer League this year, averaging 21.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists all while shooting 48 percent from beyond the arc. In the championship game, Kuzma poured in 30 points with 10 rebounds on 11-for-16 shooting.

All jokes aside, Kuzma proved to be not only one of the Lakers’ most exciting rookies, but one of the league’s most exciting rookies.

Lonzo Ball

After an impressive performance in the Las Vegas Summer League and earning the Summer League Most Valuable Player Award, Lonzo Ball will be rated an 80 overall in NBA 2K18.

Ball averaged 16.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and a summer league record 9.3 assists in the five games played in Vegas. Ball also notched two triple-doubles and a huge 36-points scoring outburst against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Ball’s ratings could solidify himself as one of the highest rated players on the Lakers. The Lakers view Ball as the face of their franchise, so it is not a surprised to see him rated this high as a rookie point guard. Ball’s ratings could change throughout the course of the season based on his performance on the court, let’s hope it goes even higher.
