The defending NBA champions just got a little more Swaggy. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the former Lakers’ guard has agreed to a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors:

Young opted out of the final year of his contract with the Lakers in order to hit free agency. He had previously noted during his exit interview that he would like to move on to a team with a higher chance of winning a title.

Now, the sharpshooter will join a team best suited to accentuate his skills and hide his deficiencies. Young will be tasked with bringing firepower off the bench to the Warriors’ already high-scoring and efficient system.

Young spent four seasons with the Lakers. He had a career year in Luke Walton’s first season as head coach, averaging 13.2 points per game and shooting over 40 percent from three.
