This week will be a busy one for the Los Angeles Lakers. They are scheduled to a private workout with top draft prospect De’Aaron Fox on Tuesday. There has also been a report coming out today that the Lakers will have a meeting with Markelle Fultz.

Fultz is widely known to be the consensus number one overall pick in the upcoming draft. The Lakers are currently sitting with the number two overall pick with no clear direction on who they would want to use that pick on.

Recently, the Lakers have worked out Lonzo Ball and Josh Jackson. Both players are high on the Lakers’ radar. But there is no clear indicator on who the Lakers will take. There were reports that the Lakers were not impressed with Ball’s conditioning and took an affinity for Jackson’s workout and even made a promise to him.

Fultz is a 6′ 4″ guard from the University of Washington. He is a prolific scorer and playmaker. During his freshman campaign, he averaged 23 points and six assists.

Fultz was never on the Lakers’ radar because it is believed that the Celtics would take with the number one overall pick. It is interesting that Fultz will meet with the Lakers even though he might not be on available for them.
