Podcast: Lou Williams, Brandon Ingram help Lakers surge past Pacers, 108-96

After suffering a tough loss on Tuesday against the Denver Nuggets, the Los Angeles Lakers bounced back in a big way, earning one of their best wins of the season against #FutureLaker Paul George and his current team, the Indiana Pacers.

Lou Williams led the way for the purple and gold with 27 points while Brandon Ingram’s strong third quarter helped spark the Lakers in the second half, turning a two-point halftime deficit into a 108-96 win. Ingram finished the night with 15 points and seven rebounds in 32 minutes of play. Julius Randle also poured in 16 points, five rebounds and four assists in 34 minutes of action.

Unfortunately, it was not a great night for all of the Lakers’ youngsters. D’Angelo Russell exited the game shortly after a tip. His leg got tangled with Randle’s, leading to a sprained right MCL and a strained calf, causing him to basically sit out tonight’s win. Russell appeared to be in good spirits after the game, though an MRI will determine the extent of the injury.

Where does this win rank for the Lakers this season? The guys broke it down and discussed the chances of Paul George signing with the Lakers in 2018.
