The Los Angeles Lakers have been hit incredibly hard by the injury bug this season with their backcourt of Nick Young and D’Angelo Russell out along with reserves Jose Calderon and Tarik Black.
However, the Laker faithful and the Lakers themselves were finally handed a small bit of good news on Sunday morning as it appears D’Angelo Russell will suit up for the team for Sunday night’s contest against the New York Knicks.

Since Russell has went down, the Lakers have lacked creativity and play-making in the starting unit as well as a certain amount of ice in their veins. The return also comes at the perfect time has the depleted Lakers prepare for a seven-game road trip.
