Larry Nance, Jr. reveals 75 overall rating on NBA 2K17

We are in the doldrums of the NBA season with very little significant news. But we do have one storyline to follow and that is NBA 2K ratings.

The latest installment of the successful video game franchise is due to be released soon and fans and NBA players alike are excited. For younger players, especially, seeing their likeness in a video game seems to be wildly entertaining. I blame millenials.

A few days ago we learned that D’Angelo Russell will have a 79 overall rating in the game. Clearly, this was a travesty as he deserves to have a 100 overall rating but I digress.

Now, we know the rating for another member of the Lakers’ young core: Larry Nance, Jr.

Nance appears to be a notch below Russell in the 2K ratings with a 75 overall. Nevertheless, that’s a pretty good score for a player who was considered a bit of a reach in the first round of last year’s draft.

Nance has worked extremely hard to get to where he is and has pleasantly surprised everyone. His play in Summer League adds even more fuel to the fire that the Lakers may have found a gem in the sophomore power forward.

Hopefully, Nance will continue to improve and get that 2K rating up.
